He has extensive experience of construction law and regularly represents companies, organisations and public entities in construction and consultancy disputes. Sven frequently works with contract law in the construction sector, assisting Employers and Contractors with contract drafting and contract review. He is regularly engaged as a lecturer in construction law, contract law and consulting law across Sweden. Sven graduated in 2008 with a double degree in law and economics from Lund University. He worked for a time with mergers and acquisitions and commercial contract law at a law firm, and then switched to district court work. Since the beginning of 2011, Sven has specialised in construction law, consulting law and contract law in the construction sector, and his high-level performance will give you the opportunity for the development that you desire.

Our legal courses
The following educational programmes are offered, where you as a client can choose the direction and focus to fit your company’s needs.
Elementary course in construction law
This educational programme is an elementary course in construction law. The participants will gain knowledge about the legal framework that influences the construction process and the sector’s most common standard-form contracts, AB 04 and ABT 06. The course is usually conducted over two days, but can also be provided in a shorter one-day version on request (primarily at the expense of the practical elements of the course, such as exercises etc.).
Advanced course in construction law
The advanced course in construction law is intended for participants who have some experience in the building, construction and installation sectors.
The purpose of this course is to provide in-depth knowledge of construction law and the know-how to act so as to prevent and manage disputes.
Legal course in contract law focusing on construction law
For this course, the following topics will be discussed: know-how regarding how to write clear contracts; different principles for the interpretation of contracts; know-how to avoid implied contracts that may occur during the projects due to actions/passivity; the meaning of some recurring clauses, etc.
The course can be seen as a further expansion of knowledge in construction law, after completing our elementary course.
Legal course in construction law: consultancy law (ABK 09)
The educational programme is focused on the standard-form contract ABK 09. The aim of the course is to provide the participants with knowledge regarding consultancy procurement, ABK 09 and recurring practical issues during the performance of the consultant’s assignment. The course covers basic consultancy law, i.e. the rules relating to the consultant’s liability for the services provided, among other things, which is an essential aspect of construction law.
