This course is primarily intended for procurement officers in the public sector who wish to increase their expertise regarding public procurement. The elementary course in public procurement is conducted over two days. The course provides the participants with insight and an understanding of which rules need to be followed in a public procurement, as well as important factors to consider when conducting commercial procurement.
About the course
The elementary course in public procurement for procurement officers includes a review of the legal framework, focusing particularly on the Swedish Public Procurement Act (LOU). The course aims to provide the participants with extensive knowledge regarding LOU and the ability to set relevant and commercial requirements in procurements to maintain competition.
Our elementary course in public procurement for procurement officers consists of a theoretical and a practical module. The theoretical module concludes with a written exam.
Prerequisites
The course is intended for procurement officers and employers in the public sector who wish to improve their know-how regarding conducting commercial procurements. No prior qualifications are needed, although some experience in the public sector is beneficial.
