Dispute resolution
One of our key areas of expertise is commercial dispute resolution, with a particular focus on technology-heavy disputes. By technology-heavy disputes we mean disputes where technology is closely intertwined with law, for example, disputes relating to construction, dams, hydroelectric power plants, wind turbines, other technically complex facilities, bridges, infrastructure, explosives, construction machinery, faulty design in construction projects, etc. In these disputes, there is a particularly high demand for lawyers and engineers/experts to work closely together and for technical aspects to be ‘translated’ into law in a correct manner. We work on this on a daily basis.
We regularly represent clients in public courts and arbitration tribunals. We are regularly consulted before litigation to analyse the conditions for litigation and to assist in out-of-court negotiations.
Our courses on construction law cover how to avoid disputes in your project. You can book a place on one of our open courses or contact us to discuss in-house courses tailored to your company’s needs.
